You can join the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program by signing up at clinique.co.uk and following the prompts to register. In order to sign up, you must provide your name and email address and create a password. There is no cost to join.

Who is eligible to join Clinique Smart Rewards?

The Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program is available to individuals who are legal residents of the United Kingdom and are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and who provide and maintain a valid email address. Employees of The Estée Lauder Companies and individuals employed by our business partners or vendors are eligible for membership for personal use only, but may be excluded from certain program benefits in our sole but reasonable discretion. The Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program may not be used for any business or commercial purpose and we may refuse to create an account for any reason.

How does Clinique Smart Rewards work?

Clinique Smart Rewards is a loyalty program that rewards customers for purchasing Clinique products and participating in pre-defined brand experiences on clinique.co.uk. It is a tier-based program determined by the number of points a member has earned within a single year on eligible purchases and through qualifying activities, beginning on the date when you enroll. There are 3 tiers with associated benefits:

  • Tier 1, Smart 0 – 75 points
  • Tier 2, Brilliant 76 – 200 points
  • Tier 3, Genius 201+ points

When you join, you’ll automatically be placed in Tier 1, Smart and be eligible for all the benefits Smart members receive. Once you earn at least 76 points in your first year, you’ll be automatically moved up to Tier 2, Brilliant. If you earn 201 points or more in your first year, you’ll qualify for Tier 3, Genius.

Your status in a particular tier is good for the remainder of the year in which you first qualify for that tier and for the following full year. After that, you’ll need to earn enough points to qualify for a particular tier. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Brilliant, in your first year, you’ll will move from Tier 1, Smart to Tier 2, Brilliant for the remainder of your first year and will retain Tier 2, Brilliant status during your entire second year. But, if you earn less than 76 points on eligible purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Smart status on your second anniversary date.

The higher the tier, the better the benefits.

What benefits do members receive?

As a member, you earn points that determine your points benefits plus your tier status and tier benefits.

Points Benefits: At different point levels, you will be able to redeem your points for rewards that can be used in conjunction with a purchase on clinique.co.uk. These rewards are based on the total number of points you have accumulated in a single year as listed below. You may redeem one reward per transaction on clinique.co.uk. You must redeem your available points prior to your anniversary date, or the available rewards will expire. On your anniversary date, your points reset to 0 and you start accumulating new points and earning new rewards.

  • Free deluxe sample with purchase (valid at 50 points)
  • Free full-size product with purchase (valid at 100 points)
  • Free full-size Gift With Purchase product assortment with purchase (valid at 300 points)

Tier Benefits: Certain benefits are based on tier achieved and you are eligible for these benefits while you are in that tier regardless of the number of points you currently have. Tier benefits can only be redeemed on clinique.co.uk with the exception of exclusive invitations to in-store member events and VIP events or as otherwise noted. On your anniversary date, even though your points reset to zero, your initial tier status for the year is determined by the total number of points you earned in the prior year.

Tier 1, Smart: 0–75 points

How do I earn points?

To earn points, you must be enrolled in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program and be signed into your account at the time of purchase. Clinique Smart Rewards members receive 1 point for every £1 spent on eligible purchases on clinique.co.uk.* Eligible purchases include regular priced merchandise and exclude sale or promotional items, gift cards, applicable taxes, fees, discounts, and delivery charges, and/or other excluded charges specified by us from time-to-time.

Currently, Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program is only for online purchases and does not allow members to receive points or benefits from purchases made at department stores, specialty stores or retail stores – even if they are stores owned by us. Purchases made outside of the United Kingdom are also not eligible for Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program. If this changes, we will update our Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation and inform you accordingly.

In addition to these purchases, here are more ways to earn points at clinique.co.uk**:

  • Earn points for enrolling in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program (one time only).
  • Earn points for completing the Foundation Finder (one time only).

*All points are pending until your order ships, at which time they are fully matured.

**To earn points, please check to make sure you are a Clinique Smart Rewards member and you have logged into your account before completing the actions above. The number of points, if any, awarded for each action is determined by Clinique in its sole but reasonable discretion and in all cases subject to a maximum number of points earned for each action per year.

Why have my points disappeared?

When you redeem your points for product rewards, the available points in your account will decrease based on the amount of points you redeemed.

Points are valid for one year from your Clinique Smart Rewards “anniversary date” (this is the anniversary of the date you enrolled in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program). On your anniversary date each year, your available points expire and reset to zero and you start accumulating new points to redeem for new rewards.

On your anniversary date, even though your points reset to zero, your tier status is determined by the number of points accumulated in the immediately preceding year.

Your points may have also disappeared if we have excluded you from or discontinued your participation in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program. What is my Clinique Smart Rewards anniversary date, and where can I find it?

This is the anniversary of the date when you enrolled in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program, and it occurs on a 12-month cycle. For example, if you joined Clinique Smart Rewards on November 15, 2016, your anniversary date would be November 15, 2017, and every November 15 of each year thereafter.

Why is my current tier status not reflected by my current points?

In year one of your Clinique Smart Rewards membership, your tier status is determined by the points you accumulate during that first year. After year one on your anniversary date, your points reset to zero, and you can start earning points benefits again. While your points decrease when you redeem them for points benefits and reset each year on your anniversary date, your initial tier status for the year is determined by the points you accumulated during the prior year of membership, and you are eligible for those tier benefits regardless of the number of points you have.

How do I check my account status and track my points and tier online?

You can check your Clinique Smart Rewards account status by visiting your account online at clinique.com where you can track your current points, tier and available benefits. All points are pending until your order ships, at which time they are fully vested and capable of redemption

How long does it take for my purchases to accrue points to my account?

It may take up to 48-72 hours from the time your order ships for eligible purchases to post to your account. It may also take up to 7 days for points for other Clinique Smart Rewards activities to post to your account. If points have not been credited to your account within 14 days, please contact Customer Service at infocl@clinique.co.uk or by calling +44 808 281 0226 (from within the UK).

What happens to my Clinique Smart Rewards benefits and/or points if I return a product or if an order is cancelled?

Any product that is returned or any order that is cancelled will reverse the points you received from that purchase. If you moved up to a new tier on that order, your tier will also be adjusted accordingly.

If it is found that an order is obtained through fraudulent or other activity that violates the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation, those accumulated points and your change in tier status, if applicable, will also be reversed

How do I get my benefits?

Your Clinique Smart Rewards offers and rewards can be redeemed on www.clinique.co.uk. To redeem offers and rewards, you must have accumulated the minimum number of points as established by us for a particular reward and make an additional purchase of products at the time that you redeem your points. Product rewards and samples are shipped with product purchases ONLY. Points may never be redeemed for cash. You will find your eligible offers and rewards (with offer codes if applicable) listed in your personal account. Qualifying members will receive email invitations when event rewards are available if they have consented to receiving such communication and have not opted-out of receiving Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program emails.

Rewards can only be redeemed when making a purchase on clinique.co.uk except for invitations to special online events, in-store member events, and VIP member events. You must be logged in to your Clinique Smart Rewards account to use your benefits.

Offers and rewards are available while supplies last and substitutions made by us in our sole discretion may occur. If your online order is not completed for any reason, any offers or rewards will be removed from your shopping basket and may no longer be available. You are not required to redeem points. We are unable to reship offers or rewards if they arrive damaged, if you received the wrong one or if one is missing from your order. How do I receive my Birthday Gift?

During the month of your birthday, you can redeem your Birthday Gift on clinique.co.uk by making a purchase and applying your offer at checkout. You will receive notice of your birthday offer and your offer code via email if your birthday is provided in your account profile and if you have consented to receiving Smart Rewards UK loyalty email communication. Birthday gifts must be redeemed within 30 days from your birthday. You must be logged into your Clinique Smart Rewards account to redeem your birthday gift. There is a limit of one Birthday Gift per member per year and Birthday Gifts cannot be transferred, delayed, exchanged or returned.

How do I get my Free Full-Size products?

At certain point levels (100 points and 300 points), you are eligible to select a Free Full-Size product points benefit (in addition to any other tier benefits) from the assortment determined by us with a purchase on clinique.co.uk. To redeem your points, log into your Clinique Smart Rewards account and choose one of the eligible products on your account page and add it to your bag. If you do not redeem your available points before your anniversary date, your points will expire. Product rewards are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged or returned for points, another product or a monetary refund.

  • Standard delivery to addresses in the UK is complimentary for all Clinique Smart Rewards members. You must select “Free Standard Delivery 2-5 days" at checkout and be logged into your Clinique Smart Rewards account.
  • Free Next Day and/or Saturday Delivery to addresses in the UK is complimentary for Clinique Smart Rewards members in Tier 3, Genius only. You must select “Free Next Day Delivery” at checkout and be logged into your Clinique Smart Rewards account.
  • Tier 2, Brilliant members are eligible for a one-time complimentary use of Free Next Day and/or Saturday Delivery to addresses in the UK with a purchase on clinique.co.uk.You can unlock this reward by logging into your Clinique Smart Rewards account online. To receive it, choose “Redeem Next Day Shipping” on your Clinique Smart Rewards account page and add it to your bag. If not used before your anniversary date, this offer will expire.

What are Early Access and Preview benefits?

From time to time, Clinique Smart Rewards members will be offered early access to shop select products before they are offered for sale to the general public. Qualifying members will receive email invitations when these offers are made available if they have consented to receiving such communications and have not chosen to opt-out of receiving Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program emails. Members must login to their accounts to redeem this benefit. These offers are available for a limited time and while supplies last.

Can I return a product that I received as a reward from Clinique Smart Rewards or exchange it for money?

No. Products received as a reward (e.g., birthday gift, free full-size products, etc.) through Clinique Smart Rewards cannot be returned or exchanged for money or any other products or points.

Do my points and points benefits expire?

Yes. Points expire on your anniversary date, at which time they reset to zero. You must redeem your available points before your anniversary date, or your eligible points benefits and product rewards will expire on your anniversary date each year.

Do my tier status and tier benefits expire?

Tier benefits are valid for as long as you are in a specific tier. If you move down a tier, your benefits change accordingly.

On your anniversary date each year your points reset to zero, and you can start earning points benefits again. While your points reset each year on your anniversary date, your tier status is determined by the number of points you earned during the prior year of membership, regardless of how many points you redeemed. Your status in a particular tier is good for the year in which you qualify for that tier and the following full year. After that, you’ll need to earn enough points to qualify for that tier each year thereafter. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Brilliant, during your first year, you’ll maintain Brilliant status during your second year. But, if you earn less than 76 points on eligible purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Smart status at the onset of your third year.

Does my Clinique Smart Rewards membership ever expire?

To keep your account active you must log in to your Clinique Smart Rewards account and make a purchase within 24 months. Membership will expire if a member is inactive for a period of 24 months or more.

Can Clinique Smart Rewards be terminated?

Except where prohibited by applicable law, we may, in our sole discretion, cancel, modify, restrict or terminate the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program or any aspect or feature of this loyalty program at any time by updating the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation., even though such changes may affect the value of points and benefits already accumulated or earned and/or the ability to redeem accumulated points and benefits. If the Program is terminated, your rewards, benefits and/or points will automatically expire on the effective date of the termination of the Program and can no longer be used after that date. We also reserve the right to exclude you from or discontinue your participation in Clinique Smart Rewards for any or no reason. You may cancel your membership in Clinique Smart Rewards Program at any time. What happens to any rewards I have earned if my membership in Clinique Smart Rewards is terminated or expires?

If your membership is terminated or expires (whether by you or us), all points and benefits (including tier benefits) in your account will automatically expire on the date your membership terminates or expires. Points and benefits cannot be transferred to someone else.

Your account information (including security details) are confidential and should not be shared with any other person.
